In 2013, when Dr Salahudeen Aboobacker set out to establish the Pearl Dental Clinic, which became operational in 2014, he was crystal clear about his mission.
Ever since he was a youngster, Dr Aboobacker witnessed first-hand the magical powers of caring and attentiveness that a competent physician could bring to his patients.
He then understood that medical competence must go together with deep compassion to make one a successful medical practitioner. Today, Dr Salahudeen’s Pearl Dental Clinic embodies these values and much more.
Dr Salahudeen packs 20 years of experience as a dentist and has worked with some of the most outstanding doctors in India, finetuning his skills in client-centric medical practice.
From them, he learnt the art of engaging with patients, strong communication skills and transparency, which made him a beloved doctor to his patients.
But during his months working as a dentist in clinics in Dubai, he observed a casual attitude to patient care, despite having highly skilled doctors.

So, he decided to turn things around. Starting as a single-doctor practice, Pearl Dental Clinic is now a fully-functional facility that represents trust, credibility, relationships and best ethical practices – the founding stone of Dr Salahudeen’s dreams.
His team comprises six experienced doctors, five nurses and administrative staff. Growth is steady, just the way Dr Salahudeen likes.
The clinic is flooded with enquiries even during the pandemic due to the strong industry reputation built by Dr. Salahudeen and his team.

There was a time when Dr. Salahudeen needed assistance due to severe back issues. His wife, Dr Sameera, stepped in, bringing a unique type of efficiency and organisation that transformed the clinic’s operations and accelerated its growth journey.
She now supervises end-to-end administration, freeing Dr. Salahudeen to do what he does best – one-of-a-kind and state-of-the-art dental care to a vast clientele.
Looking forward, Dr. Salahudeen is excited about plans to establish a dental coaching facility with continuing dental education programmes focused on enhancing the patient-doctor relationship for young dentists. He also plans to expand his clinic’s branch to various areas across Dubai in the coming months.

Inspired by the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dr. Salahudeen has many strategic moves up his sleeve.
They moved into a retail space that could adhere to government-enforced norms during the pandemic. They also amped up capacity by hiring doctors and invested in technology.
The clinic boasts of digital imaging technology that gives patients a clear view of procedures and therapies while reducing treatment time.
This was especially beneficial to international patients who began visiting Dubai, being the only country where travellers were welcomed thanks to the ruler’s quick actions to control the pandemic.
Strong digital marketing and local recommendations pointed these new customers straight to Pearl Dental Clinic, an accomplishment for any business that led to 4x increase in annual revenues – a true example of being resilient during a crisis.
