After his Post Graduation in Economics, the lure of the emerging economies of IT and telecommunications drew him to the corporate world. Associating with companies like Fujitsu ICIM, Zenith, and BPL Telecommunications where he handled business development and marketing for IT Infrastructure and Telecommunications solutions, he shifted to the software industry and joined Botree Software International as Country Head for its Healthcare and Supply Chain Management Solutions in Mumbai, India.

In the year 2002 in Dubai as the Founder Director of Cirrus Software Labs, he established the HO in Dubai Internet City and set up an offshore development center in India. It was in Dubai that Ninan made a comeback to his family business of publishing and started GrayMatter LLC in 2006. In his mission through publications that have acquired credibility over 9 long years through various volumes of Achievers, Global Super Series, etc., he was also able to bring forward the unsung heroes in business and entrepreneurship, who had generated millions of jobs and became the backbone of the economy of the country they established their businesses in as well as their home country.

Gray Matter under the able leadership of Mr. Ninan is expanding the publications to other countries in the coming years with the help of some major global MNC brands.
