For over a quarter of a century, the Landmark Zenath Group (LMZ Group) has been a frontrunner across various industries such as hospitality, restaurants, real estate, and construction.
The Group that began as a small real estate company is today the face of trusted family-friendly hospitality in Dubai and the GCC.
Deen Sadiq, known for his calm and straightforward demeanour, joined the Group as a Director in 2006.
Deen is today at the helm of the growth and diversification that the Group is achieving in the hotel and real estate sectors. He considers his lineage as a blessing.
Branching Out
The LMZ Group has a diverse business portfolio. A testament to this fact is that a company that began in the real estate sector has spread its influence to various other verticals, reaching even the media industry.
The group’s hospitality and restaurant vertical are leaders in providing family-friendly options across a bouquet of six hotels, including three and four-star properties.
It also partners with several prominent international restaurant chains. LMZ Cuisines, the food and beverage subsidiary of the group, operates over 20 restaurants, including the farr.ous Sangeetha and Tapa King, and works with several brands under its franchise model.
The group also has the rights to reprint a popular vernacular newspaper in Dubai. In the next five years, the group is hopeful of opening more restaurants in its areas of operation and is also expanding its current portfolio of leasing of buildings.
Inspiration From Family
Born in Tamil Nadu, Deen comes across as an exceedingly humble personality in the eyes of friends and peers, a trait he feels he gained through his family’s mentorship. He earned a degree in Marketing from the American University of Dubai (AUD) and AIU, Atlanta.
In the year 1996, Deen’s father, S. M . Sadiq, established the LMZ Group by starting a real estate business. Deen firmly advises everyone to constantly engage with their elders and take their advice on life’s challenges.
Efforts In Philanthropy
The LMZ Group has an impressive track record for its philanthropic efforts and CSR initiatives. The group is involved in several initiatives such as elder care, blood donation drives and providing meals to the needy, to name a few.
In addition, Deen, a firm believer that charity begins at home, has gone out of his way to help the group’s employees with financial aid in times of need.
