SBK Real Estate, established in 1995, is a longstanding property management business based in Dubai. With a network spread across the UAE and India, the Group is a diversified enterprise employing a large workforce and hundreds of projects managed in its name.

Executive Director Shahid Hassan efficiently manages the family business and ensures that the group runs smoothly and effectively.

He looks up to his father and real estate icon, V. A. Hassan, and feels fortunate to have had the best training and the relevant exposure through his formative years. 

Return To Roots

A young Shahid was instilled with worldly wisdom by his parents throughout his childhood. After finishing his schooling at the Indian High School, Dubai, he went to the UK to do his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Portsmouth, after which he completed his Master’s in marketing at the Royal Holloway University of London.

He knew that the family business would always need him. Hence, it was with a sense of responsibility that he headed back to Dubai to pick up from where he had left off. 

The Hospitality Arm 

SBK’s venture into the real estate sector started in 1995 with the Karama Center Shopping Mall, a project that has become one of the nostalgic landmarks of Dubai. In 2000, the Group forayed into the hotel industry.

The Group currently operates the leading premium hospitality business under the Flora Group of Hotels brand in Dubai and India.

Under Shah id’s leadership, SBK Group Real Estate won the 2015 People’s Choice Real Estate Award in the Real Estate Agencies Property Management category.

New-Age Business, Old-Age Wisdom

Today, SBK Real Estate is a prime example of an enterprise that has evolved with the times, blending new age processes and traditional wisdom.

In the highly competitive and customer driven industry, Shahid feels that one of the core elements of its success is customer satisfaction.

Shahid points out that despite the real estate sector being severely affected during the global economic crisis, the Group continued to grow thanks to its high customer retention rate.
